The Care Ministry is responsible for all the care-related groups of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.  The following groups and activities fall under this ministry:

  •  Women of Christ Memorial – a mission and service organization comprised of women of the congregation.  Have both day and evening groups which meet monthly.
  •  Healthcare – Blood pressure tests are offered twice each month and blood drives are held four (4) times each year.
  •  Rest Home Singers – We show care to the residents of a local nursing home by singing with them on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.
  •  Food Pantry – We maintain a food pantry on-site to assist the residents of our community with this most basic need.
  •  Visitations – We provide a ministry of presence through regular visitations to members who are hospitalized or home-bound.
  •  Care Packages – Sent to our college students and our home-bound members as a way to maintain contact with those who are not able to worship with us regularly.
  •  Means for the Hurting – Providing meals to those who are experiencing serious illness or who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
  •  Prayer Chain – A way that we can quickly enlist the prayers of a large percentage of our membership when special prayer concerns are raised.
  •  LightHouse Groups – We provide weekly and bi-monthly sharing, prayer and bible study groups.
  •  Can Care – We provide a cancer support group.

Our prayers will be that through faith you will “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
