The Facilities Management Ministry will be responsible for the following activities:

  1. Supervise the upkeep of all properties of the Congregation.
  2. Obtain and supervise janitorial and custodial service.
  3. Bring forth suggestions for the improvement of the buildings and equipment.
  4. Recommend to the Leadership Team the need for a program of adequate property and liability insurance coverage and report any insurance claims.
  5. Make at least one annual detailed inspection of all buildings and equipment and report their findings and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
  6. Review, approve, and supervise all additions or modifications to the property unless otherwise determined by the Leadership Team or Membership Assembly.
  7. Be authorized to spend up to an amount designated by the Membership Assembly at time of budget approval for emergency items.
  8. Determine appropriate use of and rental rates and agreements for property units, other than the sanctuary.
