The Facilities Management
Ministry will be responsible for the following activities:
- Supervise
the upkeep of all properties of the Congregation.
- Obtain
and supervise janitorial and custodial service.
- Bring
forth suggestions for the improvement of the buildings and equipment.
- Recommend
to the Leadership Team the need for a program of adequate property and
liability insurance coverage and report any insurance claims.
- Make
at least one annual detailed inspection of all buildings and equipment and
report their findings and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
- Review,
approve, and supervise all additions or modifications to the property
unless otherwise determined by the Leadership Team or Membership Assembly.
- Be
authorized to spend up to an amount designated by the Membership Assembly
at time of budget approval for emergency items.
- Determine appropriate
use of and rental rates and agreements for property units, other than the
sanctuary.
